Alan D. Davis, M.D.

Dr. Davis attended the Georgia Institute of Technology as a National Merit Scholar and graduated with honors with a chemical engineering degree. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship in Massachusetts.
Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Davis has been in practice for over 15 years and is very involved in the local sports community by providing sports physicals to the high school athletes and covering games and tournaments. He is the Team Physician for Whitewater High School, Fayette County High School, Medical Director of Tournaments for the Lightning Soccer Club, Peachtree Tennis Center, South Fulton Tennis Center, and is the Medical Advisor for Peach State Gymnastics.
His specialties include orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine with special interests in the shoulder, knee, foot, and pediatric sports trauma.
Dr. Davis and his wife Rose have two children. During his free time he enjoys family activities, reading, computers, and tennis.
