Daniel R. Orcutt, M.D.
A native of Upstate New York, Dr. Orcutt holds an undergraduate degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. and a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University. He went on to attend medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr.Orcutt completed his medical training with a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center and a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. He has devoted many hours to research, covering a broad range of topics, from antimicrobial agents to shoulder instability. An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Orcutt has served as the team physician for several High School teams as well as the Washington Redskins of the NFL. Prior to joining Southern Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Orcutt was member of Canandaigua Orthopaedic Associates in Canandaigua, NY.
Dr. Orcutt and his wife, Aimee, have 3 children. In his free time he enjoys golf, church activities, and spending time with his family.
