Erik T. Bendiks, M.D.

Dr. Bendiks, a native of Texas, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Miami, as well as a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Rochester. While in Rochester, Dr. Bendiks completed a 5 year research study in bone cement science.
After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Bendiks moved to Atlanta and was a founding member of Comprehensive Orthopedic Group in Cumming. While there, he pioneered a completely percutaneous technique for low back fusion, which has since been adopted by several leading spine centers across the United States. Dr. Bendiks continues to work on new techniques for the treatment of painful neck and low back conditions.
Dr. Bendiks speaks fluent Spanish and French. In his free time, Dr. Bendiks enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
