Michael J. Behr, M.D.

Dr. Behr is a native of Rockford, Illinois, where he was a High School All-American swimmer. He completed his undergraduate education at Duke University and earned a masters degree in physiology at Michigan State University. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University, and fulfilled a sports medicine fellowship at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Behr is certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been in practice for over 17 years. In addition to orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine, his professional interests include arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement.
Dr. Behr is the team physician for Sandy Creek High School. He is a side line physician for The Chick-fil-A Bowl and a Board Member of the Contemporary Art Museum.

Dr. Behr and his wife, Kaki, have two daughters. During his free time, he enjoys sports, the arts, traveling, and most important - spending time with his family.
