Patti Hartsfield is the Chief Operating Officer for Southern Orthopaedic Specialists, LLC, responsible for the development and management of the physician-owned outpatient surgery centers. She has held management and leadership positions in the acute care arena as well as in ambulatory care. Throughout her career, Ms Hartsfield has established a reputation for creating collaborative work environments while exceeding expectations for productivity, patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, and service development.

During 25 years in the healthcare industry, she has achieved progressive levels of responsibility ranging from Critical Care Nurse to hospital Chief Operating Officer. With the exponential growth in ambulatory services, Ms Hartsfield moved into that healthcare sector as Administrator of a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. Her facility was recognized for experiencing no staff turnover while increasing case volume and surpassing benchmarks for expense management and patient satisfaction. Her management philosophy is simple-to provide the appropriate environment, support and resources for those who provide the care and to promote a culture of superior customer service.
Ms Hartsfield views this role as a natural evolution in her career - an opportunity to create new facilities within a highly regulated market, which will offer convenient, physician-led, cost-effective alternative surgical environments for the patients of Southern Orthopaedic Specialists, LLC.
